Tibetan House will be offering a short guided meditation via Skype during our extended Shelter at Home.
The 30-minute guided practice will be a means to take a break and settle into a quiet moment of wakeful stillness, gently and softly letting go.
This practice is kid friendly, as I am sure many of you are home with your family, as I am. This will be a simple, informal, comfortable guided practice for anyone, including beginners. You can sit on the floor or comfortably on a chair.
With respect to the current financial situation for many of us, these practices are offered freely. If you would like to make a donation to Tibetan House, please do so via Venmo @Tibetan-House. It will be greatly appreciated.
Directions for joining 30-minute practice on Skype:
Open Skype. Call Tibetan House New Orleans between 12:45pm to 12:58pm, CST. The earlier the better in case you have technical difficulties. This will give you time to get on the call and get situated. The practice will start promptly at 1pm.
As you call in you will be added to the group. Once on Skype, please mute your microphone and turn off your video. If your microphone is on, even the most insignificant sound will be amplified for everyone else. The meditation will start at 1pm promptly and no one will be added to the call after that time.
